The Excitement of Experiments

In the summer, it can be easy to take a few months off from school and enjoy the break.  However, there are plenty of ways to include some educational activities, without making kids feel like school is back in session.  One of my favorite ways to get everyone excited about learning is to do a science experiment together.

Science experiments draw kids like a flame draws in a moth.  There’s some incredibly exciting about seeing pieces working together to make some new, become something different, or witness a reaction.  When working with multiple ages, it can be easy to adjust the difficulty level for each child involve.  For older children, more work can be included in the preparation stage and for younger kids, they can enjoy the fascination found in the experiment itself.  Check out some incredible science experiments for various age groups/grade levels and find one you would like to try!
